🌱 Free Baby TREES
People helping people

Teaching Trades.
Building Futures.
Growing Trees.

We’re giving away FREE BABY TREES to get people excited about this movement! Join us right now in October 2026 and help us grow hundreds of thousands of trees in backyards throughout our communities. Share them in your community and help create jobs and businesses installing, maintaining, and propagating them. Those trees produce more seeds and cuttings — and the cycle continues!

Real trees. Real people. Real opportunity.

We’re already growing baby trees from seeds and cuttings in recycled containers and small greenhouses. Come learn how you can do it, too.

A seasonal opportunity — act this October

🌰 THE SEEDS ARE HERE. THE OPPORTUNITY IS NOW.

Right now, California oak trees are producing billions of acorns! Dogwoods, jacarandas, redbuds, and so many other trees are producing seeds we can collect, grow into baby trees, sell for planting in landscapes, and share profits with participating homeowners. Join us in October 2026 to help collect seeds with permission and grow baby trees in recycled water bottles and side-yard greenhouses throughout our communities—while helping create jobs and small businesses.

Seed timing varies by species and location. Collect only where permitted; avoid protected or restricted areas.

Our mission

Why are we giving away free trees?

Because we believe in people helping people. We’re giving away baby trees to spark a movement that brings homeowners, gardeners, students, retirees, newcomers, and neighbors together. We collect seeds and cuttings from existing landscapes, grow them in recycled water bottles, share trees with communities, and teach hands-on skills that can lead to work and new small businesses.

Our goal: hundreds, potentially thousands, of jobs and small businesses. The trees are what bring us together. The people are why we’re doing it.

Your yard could be growing opportunity

đź’° SEE HOW MUCH MONEY YOUR LANDSCAPE IS WORTH!

How many baby trees could we grow from your backyard?

Do you have a beautiful Japanese maple, oak, strawberry tree, redbud, dogwood, jacaranda, or another desirable tree? One mature tree might provide hundreds—or even thousands—of viable seeds or cuttings!

Here's what we're doing!

We bring together local gardeners, homeowners, and everyday people to collect seeds and cuttings from existing landscapes. We turn recycled water bottles into miniature greenhouses, grow those seeds and cuttings into new trees and shrubs, and sell them for planting in other landscapes. When those plants sell, we share the profits with participating homeowners!

YOUR LANDSCAPE. OUR EXPERIENCE. SHARED PROFITS.

FIND OUT WHAT YOUR LANDSCAPE COULD EARN

Propagation success, sale prices, costs, and profits vary. No income is guaranteed; participation requires a written agreement.

These are real photographs of the seeds, cuttings, recycled-bottle greenhouses, and young trees we're growing. From one seed to a healthy baby tree, we're teaching practical skills that communities can share.

Bring something, grow something

♻️ Bring your clean, empty water bottles!

Bring clean plastic water bottles to our events—especially larger bottles suitable for growing young trees. We'll show how recycled containers can help us propagate seeds and cuttings. Have acorns, seed pods, or a healthy tree we might take cuttings from? Tell us!

We welcome students, retirees, neighbors experiencing homelessness, and anyone interested in learning or helping. We also welcome local business sponsors for community giveaways and training activities.

Calling local television stations & community newsrooms

📺 Help us turn this fall’s seed harvest into a community movement.

We’re offering baby trees for station teams and community giveaways, plus an on-camera demonstration of how recycled water bottles become miniature greenhouses. Come see our growing operation and help viewers join the October seed harvest.

We’re seeking coverage and giveaway partners in Sacramento (cork oaks), the San Francisco Bay Area (strawberry trees), and Santa Barbara (jacarandas).

Tree quantities, delivery, interviews, and station participation are subject to scheduling and confirmation. No station is currently listed as a confirmed partner.

Help us plan quantities

RSVP for a baby tree event

Choose a market, tell us how many trees you’d like, and how many clean bottles you can bring. We’ll use responses to decide where to schedule giveaways. Markets are not confirmed giveaway sites.

This form collects RSVP interest through Netlify Forms once deployed on Netlify. We will only confirm a giveaway after market permission and event details are finalized.

Creating Jobs. Building Businesses. Changing Lives.

You don’t need to own a business to help grow one. Help collect seeds, propagate cuttings, care for trees, or share them in your community. Our goal is to create opportunities for people who want to learn and contribute.

Want to volunteer, sponsor an event, offer seeds or cuttings, or ask about professional tree installation? Get in touch. This project is supported by hands-on landscape experience and a commitment to community.
